Trainings for high school students, high school graduates and college students who want to be new counselors at our program during our Spring 2017 session are listed below. More trainings will soon be confirmed, including (hopefully) for Estacada HS, Neah-Kah-Nie HS, Nestucca HS and Seaside HS, and the Oregon City Service Learning Academy.
All trainings are the same, so it does not matter which training you attend - you don't have to attend the training at your school, you can come to any. You only need to attend ONE training of your choice.
High school students who wish to be new counselors should bring with them to training, if possible, an Outdoor School registration card or form that has been signed by both a parent/guardian and their guidance counselor at school.
College students and high school graduates attending trainings do not need signed registration forms, but they need to pass a free background check - info on background checks is available by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Registration cards for the Spring 2017 session are available at the high schools from which we normally recruit.
